    finally…

I think you can build Bant in soo many ways based on personal preferences and metagame descisions, therefore I will not complain about it.

I just want to say what I don“t like if I would play this tomorrow:
    - CIPT and manlands
    - some of the selected non evasion creatures
    - playing blue without the 4-5 strongest cards in the Format: Brainstorm, Gifts, FoW, JACE (jace)

If I would playing Bant today I would play bigger spells e.g. Jace, Gifts, Armagddon, Ravages, Cataclysm, Garruk, Archmage, Vengevine with the help of Mana Elves and remove some of the smaller non evasion creatures and creature enchantments. Also my mana base would completely different without CIPT and manlands om exchange for UU for Counterspell, Mana Drain and Shackles, Archmange.

Before this build I played the deck with Armageddon and Ravages and I really prefer playing without them. Often enough those cards are a little random, e.g. your opponet recorvers faster than you, has also mana-critters or mana artifacts…

you are absolutely right with your statement towards how to build Bant, personal preferences and metagame descisions. Surprisingly Baneslayer Angel didn’t perform well in this deck and meanwhile Basilisk Collar took its place.

The manlands were always great and I wouldn’t cut them. Seaside Citadel is probable not essential.
